The Cinque Terre, Liguria
The Cinque Terre, Liguria, is the name given to the five picturesque little towns tucked into the cliffs along the coast: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. These little towns are best seen by taking a boat from the nearby port of Lerici and sailing along the coast, with an hour free to wander around the last town of Monterosso, before joining the boat for the return sail.
