Trapani, Sicily

Trapani is located on the western coast of Sicily, a fishing and ferry port with a long history. Nowadays the town is renowned for its fine seafood and Sicilian cuisine, being closer to Africa than mainland Italy, gives Sicily its unique flavours. Trapani is also an excellent base from which to explore this part of the island.

From Trapani in under 1 hour by car you can reach many interesting and cultural destinations on the western coast of Sicily, such as:

  • Trapani and Paceco salt nature reserve: about 5 minutes
  • San Vito lo Capo and Zingaro nature reserve: 45 minutes
  • Erice: 15 minutes
  • Segesta archaelogical park: 20 minutes
  • Marsala & the Punic ship museum: 30 minutes
  • Selinunte archaelogocal park: 50 minutes
  • Palermo: 60 minutes

Trapani Tennis Club

The club is located just outside the centre of Trapani, about a 10 minute drive, which would allow you to choose to stay in the centre of Trapani or our other accommodation (La Concordia) which is in the nearby vicinity.

It is a private members only club to which TTH has secured exclusive access. Facilities include 3 floodlit clay courts, 2 hard courts, a large gym, a spacious and luxurious members lounge area and a bar/restaurant.

Coaching Philosophy

Ian Campbell

Everyone is treated as an individual, with an effort to find solutions suited to their game style, age, aspirations and ability level.

We do not teach shots in exactly the same way to everyone. Just look at the best players in the world to see the variety of styles.

What is important to us is that you are playing in a manner which is mechanically efficient so as not to cause injuries, as an improvement in mechanics will ultimately benefit a player's game.
